End of Season Awards 2011

Hinton Football Club rounded off an outstanding season at both Senior and Junior level with the news this week that Vice Chairman Terry Preece had been awarded the Herefordshire Football Association Outstanding Achievement Award as recognition for his excellent contribution to both football in the county and at Hinton FC. IT was also announced that Hinton FC has also been awarded  Herefordshire Football Association Charter Standard Community Club Award for 2010/11.
Earlier, at the Hinton awards night kindly hosted by the Britannia Inn, Club Chairman Graham Goodfellow thanked every single Senior and Junior Player, Coach, Volunteer and committee member for the outstanding efforts and achievements made throughout the year. A special mention went to Mike Marsden and Graham Andrews who successfully led Hinton 1st team a creditable 3rd place in the Herefordshire premier League.
The Senior management team led by Mike Marsden then began the awards ceremony by awarding Tom Dawson Senior 1st team player of the season, with Andrew Mowen receiving Managers player of the season and goal of the season awards. Kevin New received Reserve team player of the season and Shane Cuss was awarded Reserve team managers player. The U18 players of the season were Conner Herbert and Dan Rowe, with Ryan Jones awarded the rising star award.
Kenny Scotford was awarded the clubman of the season award for his outstanding contribution to Hinton FC, and Tim Woodcock and Steve Price jointly received the prestigious Hinton FC Coach of the season award after guiding their U10 side to a HJFL League and Cup double.
Other Senior award winners were, Kiea Cowley (1st Top Scorer), Gareth Bowley (Young Player), Elliott Body (Most Improved), Stevie Gosling (Res Top Scorer), Ben Clifford (Res Goal of the Season).
