Hinton Junior Tournament 2012

The heavy rain prevented the tournament taking place on the original weekend, but the hard work of the club provided the facilities for a splendid two days of football the following weekend.

Saturday's games were well attended, with plenty of young players providing entertainment for the spectators and enjoying their football games

The under 8 final was contested by Ross v Bartestree Athletic with Ross victorious

The under 9 final was contested by Ross v Leominster with Ross victorious

The Sunday tournament was also well supported with teams from Worcester and Cheltenham attending.  The weather continue to cause some concern, but not the wet stuff falling this time, it was trying to find some shade from the glorious sunshine that bathed the Broomy hill ground throughout the day!  The young players again provided some fantastic entertainment, with excellent displays of skill, teamwork and sportsmanship.

The under 10 final was contested between Ledbury Swifts and Hinton with Hinton victorious

The under 11 final was contested between Hinton and Barometric with Hinton victorious

Success on the field of play is of course very important, but the success of this event is in the enjoyment of everyone that supported or attended the two days.   Hinton FC would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone involved in the organisation of the event and those that parcipated in making the event a success.
