No this is how to bounce back into form.  Galaxy crushed the visitors Ewyas Harold in the cup round, and now prepare to play Fownhope in what will be  great game

10th Jan 2015

Well it had to happen one day, and today the Galaxy fell to Bartestree in a game that our young lads never really got to grips with and will have delivered a gentle reminder that just turning up doesn't win games, and a little focus and application must also come on to the pitch with the lads.

That said that game was good, the energy and enjoyment was still there by the lads, and I think they will bounce back strongly.

13th Dec 2014 - Perhaps a little too wet for the under 11s to play on?

6th Dec

An inner city game for the Galaxy this weekend with a short trip to City sports to take on the Sky blues, in what was expected to be a harder game for the Galaxy, that the game last week at Kimbolton.  The young Hinton side opened the game well and soon found themselves in 1-3 lead, with several battling the winter cold and the effects that the common cold can bring to us all, but this didn't stop some great football being played.

At the turn the home side came back into the game and managed to score three goals to level the game at the final whistle.

29th Nov

Kimbolton away this week and it seemed the youngsters travelled with plenty of confidence that a victory would be secured with ease, and this was the position at the final whistle.  Another great victory for the lads, but they will need to be on their toes again next week when they travel to Hereford city sky blues, who will put up a sterner test for the Galaxy

Come on the Galaxy!

Withington was the destination for the U11 Hinton Galaxy team this morning and  a lively game was enjoyed by everyone.  The lads again put together a host of great plays and secured the 3 points with six goals and another clean sheet this season

15th Nov

The return after the half term break brought together the two in form teams in the league, as Hereford city Sky blues visited Broomy in a great game.  The visitors swiftly took the lead in the opening minutes, before the Galaxy lads had found their feet, but then it was business as usual for our stars, as they soon took control to cruise in a comfortable lead before letting the visitors grab two late goals, but it was all to late as the Galaxy finish with 6 -3 victory.

20th Sept

Fownhope arrived at Broomy hill on a fine Saturday morning to face a buoyant Galaxy squad following lasts weeks convincing victory.  The opening exchanges were a lively affair with the visitors causing some concern for the Galaxy defence with some swift counter attacks that should have fore warned the lads, as the villagers took the lead in the game, and then the Galaxy looked moved focussed on the task and created chances to level, but couldn't quite find the final accuracy.  The final warning for the young player in red and black came when Fownhope broke clean through and with the keeper to beat the young striker saw his strike hit the inside of the posts and travel the goal line without crossing the line.

Now the game changed and the Galaxy took control, and secured a victory with three fine goals and a host of other opportunities that on other days may have been more successful with the net moving with the ball in it.

A great start to the season and now some away games to work through

Come on the Galaxy

PS if a parent would like to email a report in from the Galaxy games to Hintongraham@hotmail.co.uk , they will appear here each week.

A switch of venue was provided to the Galaxy this weekend, as they hosted a fixture at the Hereford Academy to take advantage of the 3G facility.  The game provided a great run out for the youngsters who kept a clean sheet against the opposition, while scoring nine goals.  This should enable the Galaxy to continue the great progress they have  made this season

18th January 2014

A great end to end game at Broomy this morning as LC Galaxy under 9's entertained Leominster in a league encounter prior to the teams meeting in a cup semi final in few weeks time.  The  LC Galaxy youngsters put some great football together and the game flowed end to end in a tightly contested game played on a makeshift pitch due to the waterlogged conditions at Broomy hill.  The final score didn't reflect the depth of the game in possession or chances created, but more the ability to convert those chances into goals

If you get an opportunity to watch LC Galaxy at Broomy hill, please come down, you will not be disappointed with these youngsters and the game you will see.
