23rd Sept

Cup game (bill bowkett cup ) was a hard draw in the first round against a strong Pegasus side who are one of the sides who are probably the favorites to lift the cup this year.

The conditions were not the best on Sunday but Pegasus made the best of them taking a very early lead which Hinton struggled with, by half time Hinton were down 4-1.  Undeterred the lads came out the second half and started to play football this resulted in a great goal which stunned Pegasus slightly!

Try as they might Hinton could not break down  Pegasus went onto win the game 8-2 .  Pegasus deserved the win and now go on and meet Ewyas Harold in the next round .as for Hinton U-15,s its the first loss of the season,  and this will spur the team to  come back even stronger for our next league game, but well done to all in the team who played in wet sodden conditions.

16th Sept

The Hinton under 15's are managed by Shaun Fitzpatrick who works very hard to ensure that everyone who plays at Hinton enjoy's the expererience.

Shaun was presented with a merit award from the HJFL for all the hard work and effort which he has put in through out the 2011-12 season.  This award was to recognise the help and support Shaun gave the HJFL , the presentation was a complete surprise to Shaun, but thoroughly deserved.   Shaun  adheres to the code of conduct set down by the league and the Hinton FC  and the success of this method has ensured that everyone has embraced these policies .

Hinton U15 are currently in a league which consists of thirteen teams which complete fixtures mostly on a Sunday afternoon

This season has seen the under 15's lose several players at the end of 2011/12 season, so Shaun has worked tirelessly  in the close season to bring players into the squad to start the 2012 season which has proved very benifical and the new additions to the squad have settled into the team .

There is a long season ahead of the u15's, which the team have played two games so far playing away to Presteigne in opening game ,which Hinton came away with a 9-2 win.  The winning sequence was continued then with the first home game  playing against Wellington as they produced a fantastic result winning 7-1.

The team and Shaun know that they must continue the hard work to keep ahead of their rivals and this determination will hopefully allow them progress victorious through the season as they met additional challenges?

Well done boys a great start to the season .
